Wade K. Dawe, President and CEO
Wade K. Dawe is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Linear Gold Corp. Mr. Dawe has been an entrepreneur in Canadian mining and venture capital industries since 1994 and has consistently demonstrated strong results for shareholders through strategic planning, quality acquisitions and partnerships, and by retaining and developing industry respected senior management teams. To date, he has raised $65 million for the Company. He is the Chairman and a Director of Linear Metals Corporation, and serves on the Board of ImmunoVaccine Inc. Mr. Dawe has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) 1992. A native of Newfoundland and Labrador, he now resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Brian MacEachen, Executive Vice President
Brian MacEachen is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in overseeing the financial management of publicly-traded companies, Mr. MacEachen’s involvement in the mining industry has spanned over 18 years. Mr. MacEachen currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Linear Metals Corporation and previously served as the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Linear Gold Corp. and Linear Metals Corporation from January 2004 to January 2008 and June 2006 to January 2008, respectively. Prior to this, his experience includes senior positions with Franco-Nevada Mining Corporation and Aur Resources Inc. Brian worked with a team that successfully advanced exploration stage projects through to commercial production with involvement in directing the feasibility, engineering, project financing and construction related to the advancement of projects in both North America, and South America. A native of Ontario, Mr. MacEachen earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Mike Sylvestre, Vice President and COO
Mike Sylvestre is a well respected mining executive with a track record of leading the operation and development of major international mine projects. Over the span of a 30+ year career with Inco Ltd and ValeInco, Mr. Sylvestre has consistently demonstrated an ability to operate mines in a safe and sustainable manner and to responsibly manage new mine development and expansion projects including on time and on budget completion. Mike’s global experience includes operating and development responsibility for projects in Ontario Canada, Sulawesi Indonesia, Manitoba Canada, and most recently the South Pacific island of New Caledonia. Mr. Sylvestre holds a MSc and a BSc in Mining Engineering Degree from McGill University and Queen’s University respectively. Mike has also studied at the Richard Ivey School of Business and MIT Sloan School of Management. As Chief Operating Officer for Linear, Mike Sylvestre will be responsible for the operational activities related to the development of Linear’s recently acquired Goldfields Project located near Uranium City, Saskatchewan Canada. Mr. Sylvestre will also play a lead role in the execution of Linear’s continued growth and acquisition strategy.
Howard Bird, Vice-President of Exploration
Howard Bird is a senior executive and internationally experienced geologist with diverse experience in the public mineral resource sector. Howard Bird has experience in a range of commodities, including gold, base metals, platinum and diamonds. He has directed programs in Canada, United States, South Africa, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Brazil, Uruguay and Australia for various companies including Noranda Mining and Exploration Inc., Corona Corporation and SouthernEra Resources.
As Vice President, Exploration of Linear Gold, Howard Bird is currently responsible for the executive management and development of Linear Gold’s global mineral projects and providing support for corporate and global operations. Howard Bird holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and has over 18 years of experience in the mineral sector.
Keith Abriel, Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Keith Abriel is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder with more than 12 years experience in financial management and reporting, corporate finance, treasury, strategic planning, and human resources in a broad range of sectors, including the resource sector. Prior to joining Linear, Mr. Abriel spent 9 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he was responsible for the delivery of various assurance, taxation and corporate finance services to a diverse portfolio of both public and private entities, including a number of successful Initial Public Offerings.
Mr. Abriel worked with J.D. Irving, Limited’s Treasury Department from 2002 to 2004 and was responsible for a broad range of financial reporting, strategic planning and corporate treasury functions. While with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, in 1999, Mr. Abriel transferred to the Cayman Islands office and worked for 3 years in the financial services sector, including a contract with UBS AG. Mr. Abriel has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University and resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Sean Tufford, Director of Investor Relations
Sean Tufford is the Director of Investor Relations for Linear Gold Corp. Sean is responsible for managing relationships with investors, analysts, media and partners, as well as communicating Linear Gold’s dynamic initiatives at a national and international level. Prior to joining Linear Gold, Sean was Director of Business Development for M5 Marketing Communications, where he built and managed relationships with potential clients, brokered partnerships for existing name-brands and counseled clients and partners on marketing approaches. Sean has held senior positions in the aviation and financial services industries, having worked for such companies as Provincial Airlines Limited, and First Canadian Insurance Corporation. Sean has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience and he brings an international roster of contacts to his position at Linear Gold Corp. Sean serves on the board of the Halifax Rainmen professional basketball team and resides in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Peter M. Dimmell, Independent Director (2,3)
Peter Dimmell’s experience in mineral exploration has spanned more than 30 years. He started with Noranda Mining Corporation in Eastern Canada in 1969. Seventeen years later, he left the company to work as an exploration and technical consultant and director/officer with other major and junior mining companies.
Guiding on-site operations from exploration through to production, Mr. Dimmell has been involved in all aspects of the industry, both in Canada and around the world. He has served on numerous boards for public companies and professional organizations and currently holds the title of Past-President for the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. Mr. Dimmell earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick. Now living in St. John’s, he is a professional geoscientist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland.
Dr. Michael Gross, Independent Director (1,2,3)
Dr. Michael Gross has served on the Board of Directors of Linear Gold since 2003, while chairing the compensation and governance committees. He has extensive capital markets experience having served in an executive role or as a director with a number of venture stage companies. Dr. Gross is a director of Linear Metals Corporation where he chairs the Audit committee, and he was a founder and chair of the board of NWest Energy Inc. prior to its successful IPO in Jan 2008. He is also the founder of Airway Tools Ltd, a company specializing in proprietary medical devices. A Professor of Orthopaedic surgery for over 10 years, he consults extensively in design and implantation techniques with the Orthopaedic manufacturing industry.

Derrick Gill, Independent Director (1,2,3)
Over the past 30 years, Rick Gill has built a successful career as a business leader in both the mining and communications industries. Since 1996, he has held the positions of director and executive vice-president of Voisey's Bay Nickel Company Limited (VBNC). In addition, he is currently President of JETA, the joint education and training authority which oversees aboriginal skills development and employment related to the Voisey's Bay nickel project in Labrador. Mr. Gill was director and executive vice-president of Diamond Fields Resources Inc in 1995-96 and President of Bristol Communications Limited of St. John's from 1975 to 1995. Over the years, he has served on the boards of numerous charitable and volunteer organizations such as the Innu Healing Foundation, the General Hospital Health Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the St. John's Board of Trade. A graduate of the Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) Business Administration program, he resides in St. John's.

Emin Eyi, Independent Director
Emin Eyi is a founder and active partner of SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP. Based in London England, Emin and his SP Angel team are responsible for executing large and complex equity and corporate finance transactions in the UK and internationally. Prior to SP Angel, Emin most recently worked at Goldman Sachs as a specialist hedge fund sales person. He was responsible for identifying and structuring new investment products for the global hedge fund community across all asset classes. Prior to this he worked at HSBC Investment Bank as head of sales & research for the following sectors; mining, utilities, technology where he provided institutional investor research on numerous companies in these sectors and was active in many fund raisings. He has a Masters degree from Imperial College, London in mining, oil & gas with a particular specialization in the environmental and financial aspects of the resource industry.
